   1)   Android‘O’,  Google launched Android’s next version

Google launched Androids next version, Android Oreo. Android O lunched on solar eclipse day. Google tested it for long time on beta tester. Google said, this will help to improve performance and battery health also.
Google added some new features like Picture-in-Picture mode, smart text selection, redesigned and new Emoji’s, adaptive notification badges, more controls for Notifications in Android ‘O’.  They have also improved background limitation process, fingerprint gesture and performance. Updates are rolled out for Google Pixel and Nexus devices some other devices to get update by this year.


   2)     Samsung launched Galaxy Note 8, next flagship device in Galaxy Note series

Samsung launched next flagship device Galaxy Note 8 in their Note series. After recalling Galaxy Note 7 this first device to launch in Note series. They have reduced battery size in Galaxy Note 8 to safe play. This is Samsung’s first device to have dual camera setup.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is similar to its Galaxy S8. It has same processor i.e. Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 and in some devices Exynos 8895 octa core processor. It comes with 6.3” super AMOLED infinity display and dual 12MP camera setup with x2 optical zoom and dual OIS. It is available only 6GB RAM variant and comes in 64/128/256GB internal storage variant and has expandable memory up to 256GB.  Battery is 3000mAh.

   3)     Over one million pre-bookings of Nokia 6 in just seconds on Amazon

Nokia 6 went on sale for the first time in India on Amazon and got whooping response. Over millions of pre-order registered in just seconds. Next sale is on August 30.
Amazon which is exclusive online partner in India of HMD Global started sale on 21 August. Over millions of registrations done in few seconds. Nokia 6 comes with 5.5” FHD display, 3GB RAM with Snapdragon 430 processor, 32GB internal storage, 16MP rear and 8MP front camera, 3000mAh battery. It is priced at 14,999 Rs on Amazon.


   4)     Reliance Jio’s  Jiophone booking started

Most awaited Reliance Jio’s ‘Effectively zero’ priced feature phone i.e. Jiophone registration started for all user. This feature phone costs 1500 Rs which can be refunded after 3 years by giving mobile back.
Registration is started online and offline also. 500 Rs to be paid at the time of booking and 1000 Rs at the time of receiving. Offline registration can be done in any Reliance store while online registration can be done through MyJio app. Jiophone has 512MB RAM and 4GB internal memory with 2000mAh battery with 12 hours of talk time. It has 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi support as well.

   5)     Google  Station Wi-Fi service and YouTube Go are now launched in Indonesia

After successful run of Google station Wi-Fi in India now Google is expanding it to Indonesia with the help of CBN and Fiberstar. Also, google announced launch YouTube go and Google assistant with Indonesian Bahasa language support.
Google first launched its Station Wi-Fi service in India with the help of RailTel in CST Mumbai station. Google soon expanding it to more other stations in India.

   6)     Uber App now supports UPI payment in India

UPI payment system is now supported by UBER app in India. To boost cashless system in India Govt. of India launched UPI payment system in which transaction can be done through bank account directly rather than debit card or digital wallet. UBER has wide user base in India so taking consideration UBER has included it. Still it is not available to all users but it will be available soon.


    7)     Colored based status feature added to WhatsApp in new update ,launched for desktop as well

WhatsApp added color based status feature in next update. It will roll out for Android and iOS user. This feature is same as Facebook. 
In Facebook while updating your status you get an option for background color now doing same in WhatsApp user can update status by different color option for background and different font option as well. User can also add link to his status. This will increase fun of status feature. WhatsApp also added this feature to desktop user so now user can update status through desktop also.

Chinese smart phone company Xiaomi is planing to launch Android smart phone which will run on Android one. For those who don't know about android one, android one is a OS which comes with stock(pure) android experience. The main objective of android one devises is to provide budget smart phones and also regular android updates.

   Xiaomi always does new experiment so, they are trying android one this time. Xiaomi is not first device to do it, before this Indian smartphone brands like Micromax, Karbonn, Spice already released did it few years ago. According to leaks this mobile will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 which is best suited for mid range smartphone and it will have 5.5 inch display.

After so many leaks and all things Nokia 8 has been released by HMD global. Ever since the comeback of Nokia company everyone expecting flagship grade device.In the world of  Samsung's Galaxy S8, HTC U11, OnePlus 5 Nokia finally released the device which can compete with these competitor at least on specs. 

  Nokia 8 comes with latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 (Also used in HTC U11, Galaxy S8, Oneplus 5). It has 5.3" 2.5D curved glass wit Gorilla glass 5 protection. it has 13MP dual rear camera setup with OIS and 13MP front camera both camera uses ZEISS optics. In terms of battery it has 3090mah with USB type C charging support.It runs on Android Nougat. It comes in 4GB RAM ,64GB ROM and 6GB RAM, 128GB ROM variant. Nokia introduced in  Polished Blue, Tempered Blue, Steel, Polished Copper colours. It will be available in September with price €599 (apprx 45,000 Rs).

Vishal Sikka a man which has important role in Infosys growth and achievements has resigns from MD and CEO position. Although he is not leaving company now , he is now appointed as Executive Vice Chairman.   • Facebook is now allowing advertisers to buy in stream ads

World's largest social networking platform Facebook is now allowing advertisers to buy in stream ads. On the Facebook around 70% in-stream-ads of 15 sec length are watched fully with mostly sound on. 

The move also gives advertisers an option to specify whether they would like their in-stream ads to appear on Facebook itself or across the range of websites and apps in Facebook's Audience Network ad network product, a Facebook blog post said late on Thursday. 
 Advertisers on Audience Network can deliver in-stream ads in pre-roll and mid-roll placements across select apps and websites. Facebook said it will continue to give advertisers more flexibility and control over their ad placements

Some days before  Redmi Note 4 burning case was registered in Andhra Pradesh. After investigating Xiaomi released a note where they said 'Extreme External Force' is applied which may caused to catch fire.

  Bhavana Suryakiran in East Godavari districrt who was carrying Redmi note 4 in his trouser's pocket caught fire which made minor burn injuries to him. 
 "Upon first impressions of the damaged device, we can conclude that extreme external force was applied to the device, which led to the back cover and battery being bent and screen getting damaged. A detailed investigation has been launched to understand the exact cause of the damage," the smartphone maker said.

Micromax Evok is a new series from the homegrown smartphone maker that uses Flipkart's insights for development. After Micromax Evoke note and Evoke power micromax has launched Evoke Dual Note with dual rear camera sertup.
Evoke Dual Note have 13MP+5MP rear camera setup with Sony's IMX258 sensors. It has curved back, 5.5" FHD display, MediaTek's MT6750 octacore processor, 3000 mAH battery with USB type C for charging. It is powered by Android Nougat.
It is compitor of Xiami's Redmi Note 4 and also the plus point of Evoke Dual Note is it has dual camera setup. It is budget smartphone for those who want camera as primary function.
Coolpad a smartphone band is launching its new smartphone Cool 6, the launching event will be held in Dubai.It is already launched in the China but globally it is launching on 20th August.
Coolpad cool play 6 will come with 5.5" FHD display, 13MP dual rear camera, 8MP front camera. It has Snapdragon 635 octa-core processor with Adreno 510 GPU. it has 6GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage which is expandable. It will be powered with Android Nougat 7.1.1. This will run dual 4G sims with VoLTE support.

Reliance Jio's primary app MyJio has crossed 100 million downloads on play store. It is second Indian app to cross 100 million downloads after Hotstar app. 
MyJio app got 4.4 star on an average with 1.98 million user feedback. Main reason behind this huge downloads number is MyJio is platform for jio customers to keep watch on their data connection and data usage and also for their upcoming 'Jio Phone' registration user can register through this app. Also Reliance Jio's JioTV app recorded 50 million downloads.
